Rowan Lane

Areas of Expertise

Rowan is a law clerk who supports attorneys in complex business and real estate litigation matters. With a strong foundation in legal research and writing, Rowan conducts comprehensive statutory and case law analysis to support the team’s litigation strategy. She drafts memoranda, pleadings, discovery responses, and motion practice materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with evolving property and business law principles.

Rowan has experience in a diverse range of legal sectors, including government agencies, nonprofits, and law firms. During law school, Rowan founded the Jessup International Law Moot Court team, a reflection of her passion for human rights and international law. Rowan was also an Executive Production Editor at her school’s Environmental Law Journal. She supervised and collaborated with a team of Staff Editors on several scholarly articles, which strengthened her legal research skills and required strong attention to detail.

Community Involvement

Rowan truly enjoys contributing to her community. She maintains strong ties to her alma mater, UC Law SF, by reviewing applications for prospective law students. Rowan is also on the Junior Council of Stuart House, a treatment center that provides comprehensive medical and therapeutic services to survivors of sexual assault and trauma. As part of the Council, Rowan helps facilitate fundraising events to support the center, bring awareness to sexual violence, and provide resources to the public. In her free time, Rowan enjoys distance running, traveling to new places, and creative writing.
