Areas of Expertise

Ale litigates a broad range of high-stakes civil cases with a focus on complex business law, contract disputes, and real estate disputes. Ale’s innovative mindset and tenacity enable her to solve difficult challenges across a wide range of disputes on behalf of her clients. She approaches every client, case, and objective with thoughtful precision and focus on the client’s goals, recognizing that no two cases are alike, and solutions are never one-size-fits-all.

Ale started her legal career at the Santa Clara District Attorney’s office, which provided a fast track to getting valuable practical experience in the courtroom at an early stage in her career. As a law clerk, Ale successfully argued pre-trial motions, conducted evidentiary hearings, and assisted in trial preparation. During her time at the District Attorney’s Office, Ale also assisted in prosecuting white-collar criminal cases, including organized fraud schemes, sophisticated financial crimes, and technology-driven theft and identity fraud targeting the elderly. This background gives Ale a leg up on many of her peers in dealing with complex business disputes in the civil arena, which often involve similar issues of fraud, contract disputes, unfair business practices, and other alleged wrongdoings.

Ale is a graduate of UC Law San Francisco (fka “UC Hastings”), where she earned a specialized Concentration in “Technology Law and Lawyering,” a program that prepares future attorneys to stay ahead in a legal landscape. With rigorous training in artificial intelligence, as well as training in intellectual property, privacy, intermediary liability, competition, and regulatory law, the Concentration program developed Ale’s deep expertise in the issues most critical to businesses of every size. Ale is proud to be the first Latina to earn this Concentration, a milestone that reflects her trailblazing role in the legal field.

As a further testament to her litigation skills, Ale also completed the prestigious Criminal Practice Clinic and competed in the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Competition, winning two (2) national awards. She was also recognized with an excellence award for Trial Advocacy – an achievement she earned before becoming a licensed attorney.

Community Involvement

Ale believes strongly in giving back to her community. She currently serves on the Board of Santa Clara La Raza Charitable Foundation. As a board member, she leads the Scholarship Committee, which awards scholarships to Bay Area law students. Ale is frequently invited to her alma mater to share her insights on preparing for and passing the California Bar, and enjoys mentoring young lawyers, law students, and prospective law students.

Beyond the law, Ale is deeply connected to her construction roots. She takes pride in her heritage as the daughter of a drywaller and a sheet metal worker and has a genuine passion for all things building and craftsmanship.
